Welcome To Family 1st Out of School Club

Welcome to Family 1stFamily 1st provides a balanced approach to learning, giving you the peace of mind that your child will have fun as they develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

We give your child the tools to become confident and self-aware. In a caring and stimulating atmosphere, our passionate and engaging Staff gives your child endless opportunities to grow, learn, and imagine.

Family 1st teaches children life skills that go beyond reading, writing, and math like playing with toys helps develop motor skills and teaches lessons about sharing with friends.

Each activity is designed with a specific lesson or outcome in mind. In fact, our activities are designed to align with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) that progress sequentially across seven developmental domains.

We provide a balance between choice and structured activities, between group and individual pursuits, and between carers and child-directed experiences.

Programs By Age

Ages 3 to 5

Children of preschool-age are gaining independence and developing rapidly. Family 1st provide a balance between nurturing preschool-age children and encouraging exploration of the world around them, while carefully guiding children toward the more structured experiences ahead. As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they feel ready to take on the world.

Our programs enhance that confidence by providing activities to help three- and four-year-old children become problem solvers and develop a love of lifelong learning.

Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children develop a variety of skills and knowledge in areas like early literacy, mathematics, science…

Our program feature observation-based assessments that track your child's progress toward developmental milestones and school readiness.

Ages 5 to 11

As children get older and more independent, they need new challenges. That’s why we offer enrichment programs before and after school that addresses the changing and more varied needs of growing school-age children.

Children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating child care environment.

This innovative before- and after-school child care program allows kindergarten and school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our early education program is designed so that everyone goes home happy. Everything we do is designed for learning.

Our program features regular homework support Daily fitness activities that keep your child active and healthy.

Your Child’s Day

Children spend time with friends and enjoy activities that are relevant to school-age interests. We help children think, feel, and experience new challenges.

In our programs, school-age children will develop complex coordination skills, engage with peers, and practice group study. They will begin to express their goals and wishes as they seek self-identity and explore interests and behaviours in an age-appropriate way.
